GEOLOGY AND MINERALIZATION:
- Discovered in 1965
- Deposit type: volcanogenic-sedimentary
- Main minerals: hematite (Fe up to 62%), manganese, lead, germanium, sulfur, phosphorus
- Estimated reserves (author’s estimate): 48 million tonnes, with an average Fe content of 51.14%
INFRASTRUCTURE:
- Proximity to Shubarkol railway station (78 km)
- Access to road infrastructure (8 km to the Barshino – Shubarkol graded road)
GEOPHYSICAL DATA:
- High-precision magnetic survey conducted by Aurora AG Limited
- 3D inversion model of magnetic susceptibility constructed
- Promising anomalous targets identified: length up to 1,200 m, width approximately 200 m, depth up to 350 m
PROSPECTS AND RECOMMENDATIONS:
- Recommended drilling to a depth of up to 300 m on identified anomalies
- Potential expansion of the licensed area by 5 additional blocks (Zarechnoye mineral occurrence)
- Positive market conditions: current market price for Fe (62% CFR) is approximately USD 106 per tonne
